Group-Buy Participation Terms

These terms apply to every URS group buy, together with the Terms of Service and Research-Use-Only Terms. Each round may publish additional terms on its page; where they differ, the round terms apply to that round.

How a round works

• Each round lists its products, prices, any product minimums, testing contribution, shipping charges, and opening and closing times (shown in UTC).
• You place an order during the open window and pay using the instructions shown on your order page. Upload proof of payment where requested.
• Your order counts toward the round once placed; it is confirmed once we verify your payment.
• After the round closes we review minimums, place the consolidated supplier order, arrange testing and ship orders together when stock arrives.

Minimums

Some products have a minimum quantity across all participants. If a product does not reach its minimum by the closing time, it is removed from the round and you are credited for it under the Refund and Cancellation Policy. We may extend a round or allow partial fulfilment and will tell participants if we do.

Payment deadlines

Payment must be completed by the deadline shown on the group buy. Unpaid orders may be cancelled and do not count toward minimums.

Testing and documents

Where a round includes a testing contribution, it funds third-party testing of round materials. Results are posted in that round’s testing gallery, which is available only to members whose order in the round was paid.

Timelines

Supplier, testing and shipping times are estimates and may change. We will post updates on the round page and in the Group-Buy Updates channel.

Conduct

Orders are placed only through the group-buy pages, never through community chat.
